Habitat Community Day

One day. Local homes. A safe, warm winter for our neighbors.

A one-day volunteer home repair event. Volunteers will complete fall clean-up, small repairs and winterization projects at local homes owned by lower-income older adults in our community, helping them get ready for a safe winter.

Neighbors helping neighbors

Three ways to help

Give

Every dollar makes a difference. Your gift goes to Habitat Community Day and other critical home repairs for older homeowners, so anything raised beyond this event helps the next homes on our waitlist.

Refer a neighbor

Know a neighbor, parent or grandparent who owns their home and could use a hand before winter? Send them the application, or print it and bring it to them.

Experience makes a difference

Team leaders wanted

We are looking for five team leaders. If you have construction or trades experience (retired tradespeople welcome), lead a home team on November 21.

Experienced volunteers, including retired tradespeople, lead each home with a team of four to eight volunteers.

Become a team leader

Local businesses, local impact

For local businesses

Bring your team for the day, fund an entire home project, or give any amount toward a project. Contractors and tradespeople, you can donate your services. Every participating business will be recognized for its support.
